BSF-CORDOVA Crowdfunding Plan Voting Results Announcement

BSF Founder

BSF-CORDOVA Crowdfunding Plan has concluded its voting phase. The participation was not as high as expected, which could be attributed to the early stage of the Cordova ecosystem and our project. Nevertheless, we received attention, engagement, and valuable feedback from project maintainers and users.

In the spirit of responsibility to every participant and project, the initial crowdfunding threshold for this phase is set relatively low. Every user's vote or recommendation has been considered, and the following Cordova crowdfunding project candidates have been selected:

We have created crowdfunding links for these projects on the BSF website. Anyone interested in or willing to support these projects can visit the project pages to contribute.

For other questions that you might have, we provide answers below:

Q1: How can I support a project?

Login to the BSF website (currently only available via GitHub login), find the project you want to support, and click "Sponsor."

Q2: How are sponsorship prices determined?

Sponsorship prices can be either based on fixed pricing plans or custom-defined prices (starting from $1). Fixed pricing plans provide corresponding source code, documentation, technical support, etc., upon completion of crowdfunding and development.

Q3: How should I understand the 50% discount on project sponsorship?

To encourage early support, we introduced a 50% discount during the initial crowdfunding period. This discount is applied to the regular price once the project is officially launched. Sponsorship points obtained during this period are also doubled.

Q4: How is crowdfunding success determined?

Project maintainers typically set a crowdfunding target amount. Once the project reaches this target, it is considered a crowdfunding success, and development will commence.

Q5: What if a project fails to meet its crowdfunding goal?

If a project fails to reach its crowdfunding goal within the specified period or exceeds the maximum crowdfunding duration, and if the original maintainer abandons the project without finding a new maintainer, the project may be considered a crowdfunding failure. User contributions will be refunded to their balance for withdrawal or support of other projects.

Q6: How can I recommend other Cordova projects?

Although the current phase has concluded, the voting and recommendation portal remains open. You can still vote or recommend projects here. Subsequent crowdfunding initiatives will be launched periodically based on voting and recommendations.

Q7: How are project maintainers selected?

Project maintainers can either apply themselves and undergo an approval process or be invited by our team. Our team, having extensive experience in relevant fields, can also serve as backup maintainers when needed.
